Work behind the prices

What the price of each service covers

Prices follow the hours, materials and equipment each job needs. The scenes below show the work a price covers, from the gallery desk to the lighting grid, so you can see what you are paying for.

Gallery integration: from £2,400

Gallery integration: from £2,400

Specifying, installing and testing mixer, router, monitoring and intercom in a gallery, with signal documentation. Equipment is quoted separately. Larger galleries and more sources raise the cost.

Camera setup: from £900 per day

Positioning cameras, fitting pedestal or robotic rigs and briefing operators on site. The day rate covers the engineer and tools; rig hire or purchase is added where needed.

Acoustic survey and treatment: from £1,200

Acoustic survey and treatment: from £1,200

Room measurement, a written report and a treatment specification. Supply and fitting of panels is priced after the survey, as it depends on room size and finish.

Lighting design: from £1,500

Lighting design: from £1,500

A lighting plan for the set with fixture list, positions and dimming layout. Installation at height, rigging hardware and the number of fixtures change the total.

Workflow support: from £650 per day

Rundown planning, rehearsal attendance and written fault-finding procedures. Priced by the day on site, with preparation time at the same rate when it is needed.

Technical audit: from £1,100

Technical audit: from £1,100

A site visit and a written report on cabling, power and signal paths, ending in a prioritised action list. Studios with several rooms take longer and cost more.

Ordering and payment

How ordering and payment work with us

Nothing is bought on this website. You start with an enquiry through the contact page, describing your studio, the service you are interested in and any dates that matter. Fiona or a member of the team replies to arrange a call, and where the job needs it, a visit to the studio.

After that conversation we send a written quotation. It states the work, the price in pounds sterling, what the price includes, what is excluded and what could change it, such as extra rooms, more equipment or work at height. You are welcome to question any line before agreeing.

Once you confirm the quotation in writing, we schedule the work. Prices on this page are starting points, because studios differ in size, equipment and complexity, and the written quotation is the figure that applies to your project.

On completion, or at agreed stages for longer projects, we issue an invoice. Payment is made by bank transfer to the account shown on the invoice. We do not take card payments and there is no online checkout.

Cancellations and refunds are handled under our payment and refund policy, which you can read before you confirm anything. If your plans change after a quotation, tell us as early as you can and we will explain where you stand.
